Who Am I?

I'm Julia, a passionate animal lover and professional cat sitter from Germany with years of experience caring for pets worldwide. Since 2015, I've been providing live-in pet-sitting services all over the globe (Singapore, Italy, Greece, China, Netherlands, ...), and since 2019, I've worked professionally as a cat sitter in Germany. My journey with pets has been deeply rewarding, and now I'm thrilled to bring my services to Penang, a place that has truly captured my heart and feels like a second home.

I have a deep love for Malaysia and have already spent a lot of time in Georgetown, Tanjong Bungah and Tanjong Tokong. I'm very familiar with Malaysian culture, am learning bahasa and want to spend more time exploring the beautiful island of Penang. By offering pet sitting free of charge, I receive accommodation in return, making it a mutually beneficial arrangement for both pet owners and myself.

What I Offer

• Cat sitting & dog sitting as well as caring for other pets (rabbits, birds, fish, and more) in your home 🐶🐱🐹🐰🦜🐍🐟
  

• ❤️ Feeding, playtime, and companionship. I'll take care of your little one's daily routine as usual, including brushing, cleaning litter boxes, going for walks etc. I'm also happy to take your pet to the groomers or other appointments if needed during my stay
  

• 💊 Administering medication (except injections)
  

• 🏡 Continuous overnight stay: Your home becomes my home base for the duration of your trip, enabling me to give your pets an everyday-life-as-usual routine with lots of attention in their own territory – minimizing stress for your fur kids while you're away
  

• 📱 Daily updates via WhatsApp with photos and videos so you always know they are happy and safe – peace of mind guaranteed
  

• 🌿 Bringing in the mail and taking care of plants if needed. I have a green thumb btw!

What I Expect

To ensure a great experience for both your pets and myself, I have a few expectations:

• 🗓️ Minimum duration: 1 week.

• 🧭 Flexibility: While I am dedicated to your pets, I may take occasional day (not overnight) trips to explore other parts of the island or mainland.

• 📋 Clear pet care instructions: This helps me provide the best possible care for your pets.

• 🛏️ A comfortable living space: A clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay during the sit.

• 🛜 Reliable WiFi: Since I also work remotely, I need stable internet access.

• 🚫 No cameras inside: Privacy is important. If I find indoor cameras during a sit, the arrangement will be canceled immediately.

How It Works

1. First Contact: Reach out to me (see below) to check availability and discuss your pet's needs.

2. Meet & Greet: We can have a video call or an in-person meeting at your home (if I'm already nearby) to ensure it's a good fit for both sides.

3. Key Handover & Instructions: We'll arrange how to hand over the keys and go through all necessary pet care instructions. You'll provide vet details and any trusted contacts in case of emergencies among other important information about your pet.

4. During the Sit: I'll stay in touch with you via WhatsApp, sending daily updates with photos and videos of your pets, while you enjoy your trip.
